This beach used to be one of the best kept secrets with its discreet access through St Mervyn’s Avenue Point Piper and its locked gate only accessible to private residents after dusk. In an incredible location to watch the New Years fireworks and take your small children to have a paddle in safety although parking is often challenging!
The beach itself is small which makes it so charming and the limited properties that are on the beach very rarely come up for sale or lease.
Access for residents come from waterfront properties and ones behind with right of way access including apartment buildings on both Buckhurst Avenue, the early part of Wolseley Road and St Mervyn’s Avenue and the large old Fairfax homes on New South Head Road opposite Cranbrook Boys School.
This is why my next property feature is so important given we rarely see a beach front home come on the market in this location. I understand from press I have read that this is going to attract prices around $60 million plus.
Originally bought in 2011 for $10.15 million it has undergone a full renovation.
Offering 20 metre beach frontage 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, parking 2 cars and magnificent views to the bridge.
Until Next week have a lovely weekend Annie xoxo
