My last article for 2023!….
Ending the year with a bang is exactly what has been happening in Sydney’s East property market with continued quality new listings and notable sales.
Firstly I wanted to start with what I think is an exceptional rare offering. Listed by Michael Pallier at Sotheby’s International Realty this home sits on 1296sqm of land in probably one of the most exclusive cul de sac locations in Sydney’s East.

Property transactions would normally be slowing down at this time of year in line with school closures and people heading off on their summer holidays but seemingly not this year. There have been some incredible notable sales in the last week – Ive listed a few below which are quite mind blowing!
Sale of the week for the sum of $36M was executed by D’Leanne Lewis at Laing & Simmons Double Bay.
10 Ginaghulla Road Bellevue Hill sitting on 1430 sqm offering 5 bedrooms 4 bathroooms and 6 bathrooms. A fabulous home that last traded not that long ago in December 2021 for $28.5 Million.
Next up 20 Thompson Street Tamarama selling for $30 Million dollars. Offering 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and parking for 5 cars.
Next we are moving up to Vaucluse and prestigious Queens Avenue which has drop dead gorgeous views to the bridge and opera house. Selling for a cool $30 million sitting on a mere 373sqm of landsize !
An off market sale so the photo is from the last resale in 2015 when it exchanged hands for $12.850 Million not a bad little profit but I am quite sure there has been extensive works done since !
We are finally back in Bellevue Hill. This suburb has been a hot topic throughout 2023- some serious transactions have occurred in this suburb pushing up the average home price now to $9.650 M ( stats from realestate.com.au pertaining to Dec 22- Nov 23).
17-19 Vivian Street Bellevue Hill sold for $25 million – a compound sized residence with extra wide frontage of over 32 m. Another swift transaction by D’Leanne Lewis to end the year.
